It’s Official…It’s Christmas Time Once Again

LadXmas09-2sigsm

So, today it is official. I can finally wish you all a very Merry Christmas or as they say in German…Fröhlich Weihnacten!!
Not only does the 1st Advent signify the beginning of the Christmas holiday season…it also welcomes once again our annual village Weihnachtsmarkt. This fairy tale village of tiny pine covered wooden booths wraps around our town fountain, the Marienbrunnen which is adorned by a huge wreath of light advent candles. The larges advent wreath in the German state of Baden Württemberg.
People of the village and visitors from near and far all gathered to ring in the holiday season. Sipping warm wine and enjoying a taste of many different types of local specialties.
I hope to bring you the warmly romantic feeling of Ladenburg’s medieval Christmas market.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!
