On my morning walk today I was stopped in my tracks by one word I saw on the ground before me…”LIEBE”, which translates to Love in English.
No matter what language you say this powerful word in, you can’t help but be moved by it.

The Dragons have returned once again to our little sleepy bend in the Neckar river. Ladenburg hosted the 6th annual Dragon Boats races with 55 teams from local areas competing. I photographed this French school boy a few months back..he was visiting Speyer with his classmates. They were all joking and playing while waiting for the rest of their group and suddenly the boy reached into his backpack and pulled out the Stars and Stripes…Assumed a rock star pose…the whole thing...

I am not much of a soccer fan, but you can’t help being sucked up in the World Cup mania if your living in Germany.
