Well, I am happy to inform you…we take the easy way. Luckily here in Europe many mountain tops are accessible by cable cars. For a few euros you can at any age or in any physical condition, experience what it is like to be on top of the world. What is also a very nice surprise is there are normally warm places to enjoy a meal and rest up before heading back out in the elements.

Trust me, even though we didn’t carry our gear up the side of the mountain like many skiers did, we had plenty a work out schlepping around in that deep snow.

As they say there are always more than one way to skin a cat.
